I was in New Mexico a few weeks back on a long weekend. On this trip we found some time to take a 3 hour hike through the mountains of Taos to Williams Lake. Awesome destination for a mainly uphill hike, pictures/location below. If there, I recommend at least one evening at the Abominable Snowmansion.
